iTunes had Mindy on the front page of the Folk category. One listen to “Out Loud” and I knew she was special. I’m partial to strong female voices and lyrics and there is no shortage of either on her new album or her old. I snatched up both plus the Three Play.
iTunes is a gift. I wouldn’t have found Mindy without it because Radio is dead, it appears.
Thanks, Mindy. I’m sure you’ve been through a bunch to get where you are and I, for one, am grateful you made it.
Best wishes for a long career and many albums to come.

I heard “Come to Jesus” on 89.1 “The Wood” in St. Charles, MO. I just had to call in since the song was so memorable, which was the first time I’ve ever called a radio station to ask who the artist was. Being a songwriter, I know how hard it is to create that elusive real emotion through music and lyrics. Mindy has done it over and over again. Great stuff…incredibly inspiring to me. Can’t wait to get the newest CD. By the way, radio is not dead, you just need to find the locally owned stations who will play the lesser known artists and idies. Thanks for keeping true art alive!
