Just back from the Glasgow show: very disappointing! Mindy did cover a fairly good selection of material but her delivery was poor. Mistakes with chord changes, forgotten lyrics, songs aborted… I saw her play a great set around two years ago and expected the same tonight. Surprisingly, it seemed sloppy and unprofessional! A pity!
Ive seen Mindy play twice before, the concert hall and in the oran mor a few years back. Both times she was flawless.
However the glasgow gig on Saturday was shockingly poor. So many mistakes, whether it be forgetting lyrics, missing chord changes, playing the wrong chords, missing notes on guitar etc.
Mindy seemed to want to laugh it off but to be honest I had paid money to be entertained - not to watch something that seemed, i am sorry to say, extremely underprepared and unprofessional.
I am genuinely stunned by this performance because Mindy, as I have seen, can be an incredible live performer.
PS. Credit must be given to the support act Grant Campbell, who was excellent and as it transpired, the best artist of the night.
I thought she was good. Grant Campbell on the other hand….why must they trot out the most boring local acts they can find to open for Country artists?

I genuinely can’t see how you thought she was good on Saturday? She still has an incredible voice and a couple of the songs were excellent (notably come to jesus in my opinion).

I’d driven a long way just to see Mindy and she’s one of my favorite artists but this show was just dire.
Such a contrast from when she played the Concert Hall in Glasgow a couple of years back.
