Mindy in Philadelphia - World Live Cafe 5/2

Is anyone going to the headlining show in Philadelphia? I am going! I am writing a review for phillyist.com and mycrazyblogspencer.blogspot.com.

Bought tickets but was so busy at work that I couldn’t make Wednesdays show. Saw Mindy back in Fall 06 at the XPN Free at New Show and was very impressed as were the 5 people that I went with. Also saw Mindy at one of the Singer Songwriter shows back in 04. Excellent shows both times. Absolutely lovely and full of personality and energy.

Don’t confuse Mindy with Axle Rose, Spencer. A large part of Mindy’s allure is the subtle smoothness of her voice, guitar and delivery. Perhaps you would be better entertained by a drug crazed Courtney Love show?

Keep up the terrific music Mindy.
