I first heard Mindy about 3 weeks ago. A friend of mine had some of her music on his Ipod. I say “music”, but that doesn’t describe what it is that Mindy does, or the effect she has on me. From the very first, emotion filled, angelic sound that made it’s way to my soul, I have been addicted to her. I haven’t bought a music cd in over 5 years, but the very next day I went out and bought both her cd’s. I listen to her everyday, not just to hear her, but to feel her as well. There’s a different spot in every single song that sends chills down my spine. I can’t explain it, but it’s addictive! Her lyrics describe so much of my life. Whether it’s someting I’ve gone through, or something I’m waiting for, her words reflect it and her calming voice brings it to life!
To Mindy: I don’t know if you read any of this, but if you do…..thank you! God has blessed you with a soul made for speaking to the world. Thank you for sharing it with me and everyone else that has had the enormous pleasure and heavenly fortune of listening to you speak you heart. Whatever it is that you are going through right now, remember, God only gives us what we can handle. You are obviously ready to conquer whatever it is that He put before you or He wouldn’t have given it to you. God Bless!
